These terms apply to your use of qep.co.za and to any order you place with Quality Engine Parts (“QEP”, “we”, “us”). By using the website or placing an order, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
You cannot buy directly on this website. To buy a part, send us a quote request using the Request a quote button on a product page or the form on our Contact us page, or contact us by phone, email or WhatsApp. We reply with a quote, and an order is only agreed once you have accepted our quote and we have confirmed it.
Prices and quotes
Prices on the website are in South African Rand and are a guide only. The price on your written quote is the price that applies.
Your quote will state whether VAT is included, what delivery costs, and how long the quote is valid.
Stock and prices can change without notice. We may correct an obvious pricing or listing error, and we will tell you before going ahead if this affects your quote.
Payment
We will tell you how and when to pay when we send your quote. We will only dispatch your order once payment has been confirmed, unless we have agreed something different with you in writing.
Delivery
We ship across South Africa. Delivery times and costs are given on your quote and are estimates, as couriers can be delayed by things outside our control. Please check your delivery for damage and tell us as soon as possible if something is wrong.
Making sure the part fits
Engine parts must match your exact engine. Please give us your engine code and vehicle details, and check them against the part we quote. We supply parts based on the information you give us, so please confirm fitment with us before you order if you are unsure. Parts should be fitted by a qualified mechanic.
If a warranty applies to a part, it will be stated on your quote or invoice. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2008.
Our responsibility
We take care to keep the website accurate, but we do not promise that it is free of errors or always available. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the website. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
